Stud welding is a welding process which use a threaded stud, needle or gasket to weld on a metal plate by means of an arc without additional material. Energy storage stud welding pre-set the amount of energy into the capacitor firstly, and the energy from the capacitor is released all at once when welded and the welding time is 1-3ms.
